Head down to the Museum Island and visit Pergamon which houses one of the walls of ancient Babylon. See the Berlin wall, visit Check point Charlie and all the other major sites of the city, with the metro, it’s easy. The Reichstag (get there early because there are always lines!) and see this fascinating structure from the inside. The new glass dome covering the government building is meant to symbolize and eye, and represents the transparency of German politics today.
